We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Controls Specialist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems for our manufacturing processes. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, PLC programming, and automation technologies.
The Electrical Controls Specialist will collaborate closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, motors, drives, and sensors.Develop and modify PLC programs to optimize manufacturing processes, increase efficiency, and reduce downtime.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to design and implement automation solutions for new and existing equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and longevity of electrical systems.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and proactively address electrical safety hazards.
Document maintenance activities, equipment modifications, and programming changes for reference and compliance purposes.
Train production personnel on proper equipment operation, troubleshooting techniques, and safety procedures.
Stay informed about advancements in electrical controls technology and recommend upgrades or improvements as needed.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or Automation Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical controls and automation within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit design, power distribution, and control systems.
Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram.
Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical control systems.
