Electrical Automation Engineer

Crystal Claire Cosmetics Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Automation Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our internal clients by designing, building, and testing automation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automation systems, including assembly lines and robotic cells
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate engineering projects and manufacturing processes
  • Develop and implement electrical and electronic systems, including PLC, HMI, and motion control systems
  • Conduct technical design reviews and project management overviews
  • Study existing equipment statistics and provide recommendations for improving sales and production goals
  • Perform hands-on electric and electronic installation, diagnostic, and troubleshooting
  • Design mechanical drive train systems, including stepper motors, servo motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain hardware and software interfacing software for our hardware devices in C++
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a custom automated equipment builder work environment
  • Good working knowledge of hardware and software interfacing
  • Familiarity with industry policies and procedures to ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and handle a fast-changing workload
  • C++ and Linux experience is a plus
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Strong team player and excellent communication skills
