Kongsberg Geospatial is looking for an Office Coordinator to provide office, administrative, finance and HR support.

This position is well suited for individuals with an administrative or customer service background and a passion for detail-oriented work.

This position is required to be onsite in the Kanata office 5 days per week. Access to a vehicle is required for occasional delivery or pickup of orders or supplies.

What you'll do
‍_Office Management:
_

- ‍_
  • Support company and client meetings.
  • Monitor and order all office and company supplies.
  • Work with travel company to support employees with travel needs.
  • Support employees with company expense claims (data input and coding).
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Work with the social committee and help plan company events.
  • Assist with general facilities management and office organization.
  • Support ad hoc office projects as needed.
‍_Support Administrative Functions:
Administration/Finance/Human Resources_‍

  • Assist Finance with incoming invoices and data entry.
  • Assist with fullcycle recruitment, including posting jobs, sourcing, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding.
  • Participate as a member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee.
  • Support various HR projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain various administrative and HR tracking logs.


What we're looking for

  • Diploma in office administration, human resources, or related field is a benefit.
  • Administrative, customer service or similar experience.
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and highly confidential information.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Creative thinking and an ability to identify innovative ways to improve processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

It would be great if you had, but not required

  • Experience with travel bookings, general office organization, and coding employee expense claims.
  • Exposure to or knowledge of HR practices, such as recruitment, onboarding, and health & safety.
  • Knowledge of employment and human rights legislation.
