We're currently seeking a full-time Account Manager to join our growing team in Calgary, Alberta. In this role, you'll work primarily from a home office, focusing on prospecting, generating, and securing sales of OneTEAM Sports Group products for elementary and high schools. Your responsibilities will include developing and growing accounts within the City of Calgary and surrounding municipalities where we have existing preferred contractual relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Securing sales of OneTEAM products to clients throughout your territory
- Cold calling schools as a preferred vendor to build relationships
- Increasing OneTEAM's customer base and revenue through targeting, acquiring, and retaining clients
- Maintaining existing customer revenue contribution to your territory
- Managing the complete business development lifecycle from lead generation to closing deals
- Building a sales pipeline to meet and exceed targets
- Developing and delivering sales presentations to potential clients
- Adhering to the sales process and providing accurate reporting to management using NetSuite
- Participating in Regional and National Sales meetings
- Managing day-to-day sales and order activity
- Providing outstanding customer service to all accounts
- Researching competitors' products and services
- Gaining detailed knowledge of the product and competitive landscape
- Identifying and reporting on marketing opportunities
- Forecasting annual sales
- Reporting monthly sales figures
- Providing monthly territory updates to Sales Manager
Qualifications:
- Experience working with schools in Calgary is an asset
- Strong relationship building skills
- Target-driven work experience
- Ability to manage your schedule efficiently to engage with clients
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Focus on business development through effective prospecting
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Innovative and creative problem-solving skills to meet customer requirements
- Enthusiastic with a positive attitude and commitment to long-term success
- Understanding of market trends and competitors in the assigned territory
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Representing OneTEAM Sports Group with integrity and professionalism
