What you will be doing:
This position is responsible for servicing customer requirements, questions and concerns in a prompt and efficient manner while acting as a liaison between customers and Gerrie Electric.
Promptly address customer needs with regards to sourcing, pricing, and availability of material
- Growing and maintaining relationships with customers (we have a lot of repeat customers)
- Promote and increase business through proactive calls
- Receive, enter and generate customer orders in the system in an efficient manner
- Work in conjunction with and provide support to Account Managers
- Provide accurate quotations, pricing and availability to customers as required
- Expedite and followup on orders and back orders
- Process customer credits (defectives products, etc.) in a timely manner
- Provide back up to Counter Sales staff, as required
What you bring to the table:
Post-secondary education from an Electrical related discipline
- 3+ years' experience in Sales (Electrical industry preferred)
- Must have the personality and drive to sell and succeed
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Selfmotivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
