What you will be doing:


This position is responsible for servicing customer requirements, questions and concerns in a prompt and efficient manner while acting as a liaison between customers and Gerrie Electric.

The incumbent of this role will also actively promote and drive business through the following:

Promptly address customer needs with regards to sourcing, pricing, and availability of material

  • Growing and maintaining relationships with customers (we have a lot of repeat customers)
  • Promote and increase business through proactive calls
  • Receive, enter and generate customer orders in the system in an efficient manner
  • Work in conjunction with and provide support to Account Managers
  • Provide accurate quotations, pricing and availability to customers as required
  • Expedite and followup on orders and back orders
  • Process customer credits (defectives products, etc.) in a timely manner
  • Provide back up to Counter Sales staff, as required

What you bring to the table:
Post-secondary education from an Electrical related discipline

  • 3+ years' experience in Sales (Electrical industry preferred)
  • Must have the personality and drive to sell and succeed
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
