Summary
Our primary business is providing value added portion
- customized protein on stick for the food service and retail industry under the brand Expresco as well as for clients under their own private labels.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Services:_
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction within the department.
  • Act as a liaison between customer and other departments to provide solutions to customer inquiries and possible issues.
  • Receive, validate prices, lead times and processes customer orders and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Assist in tracking customers orders to ensure they have been received accurately and in a timely manner, which includes:
  • Confirming orders.
  • Dispatch of releases to brokers/clients/ carriers.
  • Creating and sending picking tickets.
  • Matching releases.
  • Matching shipping documents.
  • Practical involvement in all aspects of customer service.
  • Assists in resolving issues that may arise from product orders, deliveries, or invoicing discrepancies.
  • Assist in forecasting to ensure sufficient inventory is available.
  • Customer complaints process.
  • Logistics:_
  • Coordinating shipments.
  • Export and customs paperwork.
  • Communication with carriers/custom brokers/meat inspection.
  • Assist with planning on consolidation of shipment.
  • Coordinate pickups & deliveries to ensure delivery appointments are respected.

Other responsibilities

  • Comply with the company's regulatory requirements and operational procedures to ensure a high standard of food safety and quality.
  • Ensuring product quality and safety, and meeting SQF program requirements during assigned tasks.

Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Food industry experience, an asset.
  • Good written & oral communication.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel & Word.
