What You'll be Doing:

  • Prepare and deliver content relating to Annual Review strategy meetings with dealers
  • Develop and deploy annual parts and services objectives and targets with dealers, aligning with TCI's goals
  • Develop strategies and initiatives to improve business volumes and overall profitability through Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analytics
  • Foster strong relationships with dealers by responding to dealer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Regularly visit dealers to support business needs and opportunities
  • Partner with Toyota Dealer Association (TDA) on Parts & Service Marketing activities to ensure brand alignment with business needs & corporate standards, utilizing all available budget
  • Manage priorities with key internal stakeholders to support the team of APSMs
  • Work with APSMs and dealers to achieve targets relating to Parts Purchases, Accessories, Customer Repair Order (CRO) Volume, Service Efficiency, VIN Retention, Toyota Service Recommendation (TSR), Training Standards, Toyota Service Management (TSM) and TRSP Marketing fund utilization
  • Monitor, measure and analyze the frequency and quality of APSM dealer meetings
  • Collaborate with APSMs to determine Annual Parts & Service Manager conference locations, agendas and content
  • Support key internal stakeholders (e.g. Customer Services, Service Retention, Parts Operations, Logistics, Accessory Dealer Marketing (ADM), Product Quality & Service Support (PQSS), Vehicle Safety and Compliance Liaison Office of Canada (VSCLOC), Dealer Standards and Sales Operations (DSSO), and Toyota University) pertaining to Parts & Service
  • Create a weekly agenda within department to host an internal meeting and include business reviews
  • Manage travel budget and schedule to support allocation of resources according to business needs
*Please note, this role requires frequent travel*- Management_- Align team goals with TCI vision & hoshin priorities, establish checkpoints to support progress toward deadlines, coach team members on revising/pivoting to drive successful project completion- Drive learning & development through timely, candid guidance/feedback, seek opportunities for project work that align with team member growth opportunities and career goals- Communicate and prioritize project/task responsibilities of direct reports, provide guidance, feedback, and accountability for individual performance- Communicate corporate messages providing appropriate context in a timely manner- Lead team members to foster collaboration, understanding, support & Kaizen (continuous improvement)- Initiate and implement appropriate Kaizen efforts which results in work efficiencies relating to cost reduction or avoidance, improved time and process efficiencies

What You'll Bring:

  • University degree or college diploma in Business or a related discipline 5+ years of experience within the automotive industry (e.g. Aftersales/Parts & Service)
  • Prior management experience is a strong asset
  • Experience with dealer and field operations is an asset
  • Experience in a retail and manufacturer environment is an asset
  • Strong leadership skills; ability to coach and mentor others
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to handle ambiguous situations while maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent negotiation abilities to balance both the needs of dealers and TCI corporate objectives
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Creative thinking and problem solving; ability to generate new, innovative ideas
  • Experience with financial and performance reporting is an asset
  • Selfstarter with strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to develop and execute a strategic business plan
  • Bilingual (French & English) is an asset
  • Valid G driver's license
