Summary
The Technical Inside Sales position communicates directly with customers, managing their needs and expectations regarding RHK's products and services.

This position is responsible for the coordination of jobs by understanding and communicating customer requirements, preparing estimates and quotes, and handling all project related inquiries for manufactured products.

Superior customer service and communication skills are essential to success in this position and in enhancing the customer experience.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Understand and interpret technical requirements and provide technical information/expertise to customers
  • Prepare and coordinate the preparation of full cost estimates using time, material costs and labor information provided by Operations
  • Obtain pricing and delivery quotations from vendors on required materials and parts
  • Send quotations and follow up with customers
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to determine how products and services could be made or modified to suit the needs of the customer
  • Answer technical inquiries and questions from customers regarding products, maintenance, requirements, operations, and documentation, other related information
  • Ensure correct and necessary information is entered and maintained in CRM and ERP
  • Handle customer concerns and coordinate with necessary departments to reach resolution

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field
  • Ability to interpret and understand drawings, technical specifications, and successfully communicate that information internally and to our customers
  • Able to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and multitask
  • Hydraulics or oilfield manufacturing experience preferred
  • Customer focused responds promptly to customer needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must be adaptable to changing work environments and competing demands and is able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events
