Position Summary
We are seeking an entrepreneurial minded and highly responsible and motivated Event Planning intern based out of our Mississauga location from May to August 2024.
This role will have the responsibility to work directly with our Purina Veterinary Sales, Marketing and Professional Engagement teams as well as assisting our National Operations Group on other projects.
A day in the life of a Veterinary Event Planning Intern
You may also:
- Support the National Administrative Operations Manager on other corporate initiatives.
- Work with the Sales Director, Director of Professional Engagement, Sr Marketing Manager and their teams on communication plans for these events as well as other projects on an adhoc basis.
What will make you successful?
You will also be:
- Currently enrolled in a university or postgraduate program in communications or business.
- Involved in extracurricular activities which demonstrate initiative and leadership.
- Strong communicator with interpersonal skills.
- Team player with demonstrated ability to work effectively across all functions and levels.
- Fast learner, and must be comfortable working within a dynamic, challenging environment.
- Results and detailoriented professional with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Graphic design proficiency would be an asset.
- Knowledge of the French language is considered an asset.
- Customer Service/Sales experience would be an asset.
