We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Specialist to join our team at The Collegeway Animal Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat a wide range of animal health issues, from routine check-ups to complex medical cases.
- Perform surgical procedures, prescribe medication, and provide emergency care as needed.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests to determine the best course of treatment.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and make adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with our team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine, attending conferences, workshops, and continuing education courses to maintain expertise.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
