Job Responsibilities
  • Perform routine check-ups and examinations, including emergency interventions when necessary.
  • Administer vaccinations to prevent and treat diseases, ensuring overall health.
  • Effectively communicate with pet owners, explaining diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive care measures.
  • Conduct and interpret laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other samples to aid in the diagnosis of various conditions.
  • Utilize diagnostic imaging techniques such as X-rays or ultrasounds to assess internal health issues in small animals.
  • Work closely with veterinary technicians to ensure efficient and compassionate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, ensuring a comprehensive history for future reference.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree and Bachelor's Degree in the Sciences.
  • 2+ years of experience in the veterinary industry (preferred).
  • A passion to deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Spoken and written proficiency in English (required), Arabic (preferred).
Terms of Employment
  • Full-time (40 hours per week), Shifts can be: Day, Night, Weekends, On Call.
  • Salary: $109,200 annually ($52.50 per hour).
  • Vacancies: 1.
  • Work Location: In Person, Ability to Commute to Mississauga, ON L5L 2M9 (required).
