Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team at The Collegeway Animal Hospital. As a Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing routine check-ups and examinations, administering vaccinations, and effectively communicating with pet owners.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine check-ups and examinations, including emergency interventions when necessary.
- Administer vaccinations to prevent and treat diseases, ensuring overall health.
- Effectively communicate with pet owners, explaining diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive care measures.
- Conduct and interpret laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other samples to aid in the diagnosis of various conditions.
- Utilize diagnostic imaging techniques such as X-rays or ultrasounds to assess internal health issues in small animals.
- Work closely with veterinary technicians to ensure efficient and compassionate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, ensuring a comprehensive history for future reference.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree and Bachelor's Degree in the Sciences.
- 2+ years of experience in the veterinary industry (preferred).
- A passion to deliver high-quality customer service.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Spoken and written proficiency in English (required), Arabic (preferred).
- Competitive salary: $109,200 annually ($52.50 per hour)
- Full-time employment with a 24-month contract
