Description

Are you a highly organized project manager with a knack for problem-solving and building programs from scratch?

The Manager, Agency Operations oversees Tier 1, 2, and 3 agency operations and planning to ensure optimal allocation of work to the right agency partners. This role involves managing team operations, vendors, contracts, and projects for developing global brand assets and guidelines.

As the Manager, you will take charge of planning, coordinating, and executing various corporate programs and events related to Manulife's sponsorship portfolio. The main focus is on achieving three key objectives:

  • Build the Manulife Brand
  • Develop key relationships
  • Boost sales

The main target audiences for these initiatives include:

  • Sales intermediaries
  • Customers and Clients
  • Employees
  • Community

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a content calendar for producing and distributing essential brand resources, guidelines, logos, and tools
  • Coordinate the end-to-end brand asset development process, including gathering requirements, competitive analysis, briefings, stakeholder reviews, translation, and publishing
  • Oversee the agency operations plan, including relationship management, process improvements, and financial responsibilities like tracking invoices
  • Lead annual planning with creative agencies, manage retainer usage and hours, and provide expenditure reports
  • Collaborate with corporate partners to enhance agency relationships and efficient working methods
  • Respond to queries from corporate teams as required
  • Manage contracts and relationships with current vendors
  • Lead procurement processes, risk evaluations, and vendor management
  • Contribute to budgeting, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in an operations role, preferably in a creative agency setting
  • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities

  • Marketing or brand background is beneficial but not mandatory

Primary Location

Location: CAN, Ontario, Toronto, 200 Bloor Street East

Expected Salary Range

$84,375.00 CAD - $151,875.00 CAD
