We're seeking curious, growth minded thinkers to help shape our vision, structures and systems; The Identity and Cryptography team owns all key management and are responsible for the security and heath of distributed infrastructure & backend services.

Currently the team is working on a brand new service which will create a means by which all services and sensitive data at Robinhood will be encrypted by default (ex:
SSN, sensitive docs, etc).
Design and develop large-scale systems within the team, making informed tradeoffs for risk and long-term maintainability.
Drive technical solutions with high engineering rigour, ensuring flawless performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality technical projects that enhance the overall system functionality.
Improve system performance, scalability, developer experience, and security, effectively reducing privacy and safety risks.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
~5+ years of experience working in the Software Engineering space, with a strong passion for security.
~ Proficiency in Go or Python, with exceptional problem-solving and production debugging skills.
~ Strong ownership and experience in building and operating high-scale, distributed systems throughout the software lifecycle.
~ Go and Python
