The Parkinson and Movement Disorders Clinic is looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator who will join a well-established research group that currently has 5 other full time research coordinators.

They assume responsibility for the coordination of clinical studies and care of patients on research protocols.

Execution of all aspects of a study visit, such as adverse event assessments, safety monitoring, administration of medication, handling of questionnaires, and sample collection, including processing and shipment of samples according to clinical protocol

  • Clinical care for patients participating in clinical trials
  • Implementation and coordination of all aspects of data collection and source documentation, as per Tri-Council policy statement and ICH/GCP guidelines

Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):

  • At least 3 years of experience in a clinical research environment
  • Superior organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of data and protocol requirements
  • Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement 2 (TCPS2) and the International Conference on Harmonisation
  • Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
  • Evidence of training in Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5, and/or Device Regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Computer skills: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently with accuracy in a dynamic environment
  • Flexibility to accommodate periodically demanding deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience treating patients with neurologic conditions
  • Knowledge of IATA shipping regulations and basic laboratory procedures
  • Bilingualism

Contract Details:

This is a 2-year full-time contract with the possibility of renewal

Salary:
Min:$32.004/hr - Max:$46.147/hr
