About the Role

The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Clinical Research Assistant I. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for supporting the conduct of clinical research trials in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen and recruit study participants, obtain informed consent, and conduct follow-up visits as required.
  • Collect and enter data accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality data integrity.
  • Communicate effectively with research coordinators, scientists, surgeons, and other team members to ensure seamless trial execution.
  • Perform other study-related tasks as needed, including data management and reporting.

Requirements

  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member, with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a research or clinical environment.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
