ABOUT THIS TEAM


The strategic allocations department is responsible for managing, tracking and optimizing the allocations of Lululemon's global volume across our complex global vendor base through multiple time horizons.

The team manages the complex ecosystem required to craft and deliver on our Sourcing multiyear strategies in support of the brand multiyear strategies.

The team translates LLL five-year volume plans to global vendor and geographic allocations plans, provides long range capacity bookings to vendors, develops strategic allocations plans and works closely with seasonal allocation team to hand off strategy for execution.


A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Collaborate with Global Planning to receive Brand LRP volume at a Regional, Pod, class and franchise level
  • Translate LLL fiveyear volume plans to global vendor and geographic allocation plans
  • Hand off strategic allocation strategy to seasonal planning team for execution.
  • Leverage deep industry and vendor expertise to determine vendor specific gaps, opportunities and growth plans
  • Drive close connection to vendors to track and understand growth, capacity and capability investments
  • Track and review seasonal allocations and organize strategic meltdowns

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years' experience in apparel sourcing, supply planning and supply chain management
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field
  • Understanding of the global apparel sourcing landscape, manufacturing and capacity planning process
  • Excellent communications and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects collaborating with a variety of crossfunctional partners
