The
Jr. Merchandise Allocator will grow into the heartbeat of the product team by building relationships with stores.

You monitor sales and inventory to allocate and replenish product, ensuring that shops have the right level of inventory to reach sales targets.

You have the personality alongside the ability, to extract, organize and action on stores feedback & realities, to ensure our shop locations maximize sales through the right levels of inventory.

You're not afraid to share good as well as bad news, being an optimist at heart The ideal person for this role is someone who is looking to make a jump from the retail floor into the product team that's ready to learn and absorb and accelerate their retail career.


Responsibilities:

Weekly

  • You build relationships everyday. A great listener that takes action.
  • You assess each individual store for their needs, wants and realities. Each store is
different - you know this, and you tailor your conversation and replenishment
to these nuggets of knowledge.

  • You own weekly calls with the shop directors and stores to discuss the details.
  • Construct, own and influence the product team with a store feedback tracker.
  • Execute weekly replenishment and allocation orders for all shop locations and ensure inventory transfers are completed.
  • Communicate updates to and from the Product Team.
  • Surveying daily notes from stores examining comments, propelling inventory into action.
  • Use and update the capacity planning tool to build replenishments that maximise sales in store.
  • Provide inventory and product sales information to Marketing, Shop and Ecom teams on size sell through as requested.
  • Assisting Planning Manager in building and maintaining core product trackers
  • Assist in executing pull backs or inter store transfers.

Seasonally

  • Assist planning manager on seasonal reporting, capacity matrix, hindsight/investment reports
  • Provide size sell through targets on all new buys alongside Merchandise Manager
  • Upload POs to Netsuite and continually update arrival information as provided by product and cross functional teams
  • Prepare garment Hangtag information and provide to Production Team
  • Coordinate price adjustments with warehouse and shop staff
  • Ensure that SKU data in NetSuite is accurate, update as needed for product updates, prices, markdowns and flags
  • Store visit and update

Competencies:

  • A true Optimist
  • An undergraduate degree or diploma in a relevant field
  • 3+ years experience in operations of retail fashion stores
  • Positive and dependable attitude keeps the fun meter high
  • Relationship builder likes to solve problems and loves to help stores
  • Continually strive for improvement by identifying problems, seeking solutions and highlighting opportunities.
  • Your excel skills are good, you know beyond the basics and pivot tables don't scare you.
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • NetSuite or similar experience preferred.
  • Good organization, time management, and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to consolidate data simply and easy to read & understand by all levels in the business.
  • Detail orientated but more important is your communication.
  • Model the company culture and exemplify our shared values on a daytoday basis.
