Within the organization, Partner Development Manager owns the overall relationship with the partners, however additional support is needed to ensure these partners continue to grow their business.

The Partner Development Manager strives to help build the world's leading cloud partner ecosystem with their strategic role.

Base Salary - $75,000 per year

About the role

  • Assist with developing highvolume CAPEX / OPEX budgets, handle contract negotiations, RFPs, RFQs, FOAs, SOWs, MOUs.
  • Budgets, approvals, and reconciliations. Establish Managed Services contracts, negotiations, and compliance.
  • Assist with data analysis, insights and partner strategy and execution planning activities.
  • Assist with preparing for alliance partner exec governance and cadence meetings.
  • Assist with content creation such as newsletters, presentations, preread documents, etc.
  • Assist with activities associated with internal comms, high potential partner onboarding, cross team project support.
  • Solution building and ability to demonstrate built solutions to the partner engineers and work with them to facilitate implementation
  • Should target stakeholders with solutions designed based on geography, industry etc.

Schedule

  • Fixed schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 hrs. shift from 9 AM to 6 PM, open to flexible hours working with clients across the globe.

Location

  • Hybrid setup, working from client office (based in Toronto) and employer location (based in Toronto)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or Communications; or equivalent work experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Skills in translating data and trends into strategies and compelling messages
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize & manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Knowledge of the cloud services landscape
  • Experience in a partner/channel environment.
  • Competent to handle VMware, citrix, Palo Alto or related tools
  • Understanding of hardware along with GCP to back reasons why vendors would move to GCP from Azure etc.
  • Experienced of having worked with resellers

Who are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst/program manager in enterprise sales and/or business development working with Global SIs.
  • Strong project management experience, with exceptional skills at handling multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with public cloud solutions & services in the enterprise segment.
  • Experience in implementing gotomarket models with large Global SIs.
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders in a collaborative, fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (specifically, spreadsheets).
  • Experience working in hardware and networking companies (preferable).

Responsibilities:

  • Review requests against eligibility criteria, manage approvals or rejections.
  • Submit claims for reimbursement via partner tools with all required documentation.
  • Manage external partner relationships and resolving issues.
