We are continuously seeking exceptional talent to drive our growth and deliver results. The Talent Acquisition Partner at Geotab offers specialized support and strategic guidance to internal client groups, collaborating with the Team Lead and HR Business Partners to create and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies, ensuring the recruitment of top talent, and supporting the growth of our internal teams.

What you'll do:

The Talent Partner is responsible for providing a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers, aligning all recruitment practices with the global strategy.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Manage the entire recruitment process from posting to offer during high-volume periods effectively
  • Develop diverse candidate pipelines across assigned client groups and roles
  • Meet with internal teams/hiring managers proactively to understand upcoming recruitment needs
  • Collaborate with Geotab Global HR leaders and external recruitment agencies
  • Work closely with hiring managers to ensure job requirements are clearly defined and structured interview processes are established
  • Keep job postings updated in line with company standards and business requirements
  • Utilize recruitment tools for filling specialized positions
  • Coach hiring managers on interviewing techniques and conduct candidate assessments
  • Maintain detailed metrics for recruitment reporting and provide insights to stakeholders
  • Participate in industry events to identify top talent and engage with passive candidates
  • Support global strategic initiatives at Geotab
  • Ensure compliance with hiring practices and legislative requirements
What you'll bring to this role:
  • 5-8 years of experience in recruitment, either in-house or with an agency
  • Post-secondary Diploma/Degree or equivalent experience
  • Degree specialization in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional certification in Human Resources is a plus
  • Experience in high-volume recruitment and behavioral-based interviewing
  • Strong consultative, coaching, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for process improvement and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse teams
  • Technical proficiency in recruitment software and Google Suite
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with previous technical recruitment experience being advantageous
