What will you do?

  • Work closely with our Talent Acquisition Partners to assist them in their daily operational and admin tasks
  • Support the recruitment process as per the strategy that has been agreed with the TA Partner
  • Support on job postings and promotion (Creating Job Descriptions)
  • Participating in projects and other tasks as agreed by Talent Acquisition Lead to drive excellence in the TA function.
  • Learn on recruitment strategies, policies and programs that deliver internal and external recruiting results to meet company's strategic need.
  • Able to support endtoend recruitment but not limited to job posting, talent sourcing, resume screening, interview arrangement.
  • Maintain various reports on hiring progress and other recruiting metrics
  • Perform others routine HR basic operations support as when required and supporting Head of HR
  • Will assist HR head on functions reports and projects
  • First point of Contact for all employee matters
  • Able to travel
  • Hybrid role able to com win to the office when needed

Position is temporary (18 months) full time maternity leave coverage

What will you need to succeed?

  • Able to work proactively and have a good sense of teamwork.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, outgoing personality and have strong influence and impetus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • You are able to prioritize and organize tasks effectively

In Canada, Siemens Mobility has been providing solutions to the transportation industry for more than 40 years, including railway infrastructure maintenance services on the rail networks in Quebec and Ontario, light rail vehicles in Edmonton and Calgary, trainsets delivered to VIA Rail Canada, new trainsets for Ontario Northland that will bring back Northeastern passenger rail to Ontario that are expected to be delivered in 2026, an order for locomotives for Montreal's exo and the rail electrification and overall system maintenance of the light rail transit network in Kitchener-Waterloo.

Our footprint also includes dispatching services operated from Dorval, Québec, to more than 25 railways across Canada covering over 3,400 miles of track.
