According to a language assessment conducted by Scotiabank, the chosen candidate must communicate effectively in both English and French. This is due to the necessity to collaborate closely with English-speaking groups at the head office, report to an English-speaking manager, and serve an English-speaking client base regularly.
Is this role suitable for you? In this position, you will:
- Represent the Quebec Region in strategic decisions and day-to-day business processes
- Share best practices and processes with CWMO
- Handle escalations as the first point of contact for Quebec Region
- Stay informed of any Quebec-specific requirements or large-scale impacts on CWMO
- Maintain CWMO metrics dashboard
- Disseminate up-to-date information to branch leadership regarding operations
- Organize regular calls between regional leadership, branch management, and CWMO
- Cultivate partnerships with internal teams and external industry peers to influence operational decision-making
- Assist in implementing and documenting operational processes
The Essentials:
- Full proficiency in French and English
- University degree
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Prior experience in an investment/brokerage operations setting
- Knowledge of Wealth Applications like Broadridge, Salesforce, Score, Charles River
- Beneficial to have Project Management experience
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office, Visio, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Professional skills
- Team management and talent development experience
- Experience collaborating with technology partners
