According to a language assessment conducted by Scotiabank, the chosen candidate must communicate effectively in both English and French. This is due to the necessity to collaborate closely with English-speaking groups at the head office, report to an English-speaking manager, and serve an English-speaking client base regularly.

Is this role suitable for you? In this position, you will:

  • Represent the Quebec Region in strategic decisions and day-to-day business processes
  • Share best practices and processes with CWMO
  • Handle escalations as the first point of contact for Quebec Region
  • Stay informed of any Quebec-specific requirements or large-scale impacts on CWMO
  • Maintain CWMO metrics dashboard
  • Disseminate up-to-date information to branch leadership regarding operations
  • Organize regular calls between regional leadership, branch management, and CWMO
  • Cultivate partnerships with internal teams and external industry peers to influence operational decision-making
  • Assist in implementing and documenting operational processes

The Essentials:

  • Full proficiency in French and English
  • University degree
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Prior experience in an investment/brokerage operations setting
  • Knowledge of Wealth Applications like Broadridge, Salesforce, Score, Charles River
  • Beneficial to have Project Management experience
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office, Visio, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Professional skills
  • Team management and talent development experience
  • Experience collaborating with technology partners
