Director, Employee and Labour Relations

POSITION SUMMARY:
Join our team at SE Health as the Director of Employee and Labour Relations In this role, you will provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and collective agreements while supporting the development of our people practices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide labour relations consultation and advice to HR staff and Leaders
- Offer guidance on interpreting Collective Agreements
- Conduct employee relations investigations
- Participate in Collective Bargaining
- Advise on legislative compliance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations
- Minimum 7 years of progressive HR management experience
- Thorough knowledge of employment and labour relations legislation
- Experience in collective bargaining
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and think strategically
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within Ontario
- Fluency in French is an asset
