Manager – Human Resources Operations Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize HR service delivery processes within the shared service environment.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of HR services, including some payroll processing, employee onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management in HRIS.
  3. Lead and manage a team of HR administrators responsible for delivering shared services to clients in Canada and the US.
  4. Continuously evaluate and improve HR services to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Identify opportunities for automation, digitalization, and implementation of self-service tools to streamline HR delivery.
  6. Collaborate with key stakeholders, HR business partners, and managers to understand their needs and expectations for the HR services.
  7. Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers supporting HR service delivery and ensure compliance with corporate requirements.
  8. Utilize HR analytics and reporting tools to track KPIs and identify trends to assist with decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, culminating in a leadership role.
  • Degree in HR and pursuit of a CHRP designation.
  • Proven leadership skills and a deep understanding of HR processes, best practices, and workflow.
  • Current on various HR technology solutions and HRIS platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and high prioritization skills.
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels and build necessary relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Track record of driving process improvements in a highly compliant and fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to be on-site 3 days/week to foster collaboration within HR and aid with team development.

  • Proven team player with a minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience.
