We are seeking Estimating Students for our Montreal district that are available for 4 months or 8 months starting May 2023.
Responsibilities:
- Participate to smalltomedium estimates and playing a key role in components of estimates
- Conducts detailed analysis of contract documents and specifications to determine and validate overall project requirements
- Completes quantity takeoffs of labor, equipment, and materials from project documents
- Be trusted with performing important tasks such as quantity
- Get the chance to be a part of something bigger and contribute at project meetings. Basically, you will be a crucial part of the team from your first day on the job.
Qualifications:
- A passion for working in a construction environment. Any prior experience in construction is considered and an asset.
- Bilingualism in English and French.
- Working towards a degree or diploma in a Civil Estimating/Engineering related field.
- Completion of the ASP Construction Safety course is considered an asset.
