Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the
**Logistics Quoting Coordinator** will be responsible for the strategic pricing and preparation of freight quote opportunities arising from Customers and Partner Agents worldwide including: Ocean (FCL, LCL), Truck (FTL, LTL), Air Freight, Door to Door, White Glove deliveries, Customs Clearance, Trade Shows, and others. Focus will be on claims-free, on-time service, protection and growth of revenue and margin, while meeting and striving to exceed service expectations.
- Handle all incoming quote requests from agents and clients and negotiate transportation rates
- Provide timely responses to quote inquiries from clients and partner agents and calculate and quote prices
- Analyze and determine customers' freight forwarding needs, recommend service(s) best suited for them, and prepare and present quote proposals to sell services that address those needs
- Open quote files, upload documentation and update into CargoWise
- Find appropriate carriers / transportation solutions for each request while managing costs for clients
- Establish professional customer relationships with appropriate customer personnel
- Investigate insurance claims when they arise and ensures proper follow ups
- Keep informed of new services and changes that might affect services offered
- May work with internal departments to obtain support and assistance in meeting customers' needs
- Qualifications_
- Fluent (excellent communication skills) in English / Knowledge of French is an asset
- 1 to 2 years of experience in logistics and freight forwarding, or other related experience
- Specialized diploma in logistics and freight forwarding, or other related education is considered an asset
- Knowledge of North American Carrier Network and cross-border shipping requirements is considered an asset
- Knowledge of the trade show industry and / or trucking industry is an asset

Sous la responsabilité du gestionnaire du développement des affaires, le coordonnateur des soumissions logistiques sera responsable de la tarification stratégique et de la préparation des opportunités de soumissions de marchandises provenant de clients et d'agents partenaires dans le monde entier, notamment : Le transport maritime (FCL, LCL), le transport par camion (FTL, LTL), le fret aérien, le porte-à-porte, les livraisons en gants blancs, le dédouanement, les foires commerciales, etc. L'accent sera mis sur un service sans réclamations et dans les meilleurs délais, sur la protection et la croissance des revenus et des marges, tout en répondant et en s'efforçant de dépasser les attentes en matière de service.
- Traiter toutes les demandes de soumissions entrantes des agents et des clients et négocier les tarifs de transport.
- Répondre en temps utile aux demandes de soumissions des clients et des agents partenaires et calculer et proposer des prix
- Analyser et déterminer les besoins des clients en matière de transport de marchandises, recommander le service le mieux adapté, préparer et présenter des propositions de soumissions pour vendre des services qui répondent à ces besoins
- Ouvrir les dossiers de soumissions, télécharger la documentation et les mises à jour dans CargoWise.
- Trouver les transporteurs ou solutions de transport appropriés pour chaque demande tout en gérant les coûts pour les clients
- Établir des relations professionnelles avec le personnel concerné du client
- Enquêter sur les réclamations d'assurance lorsqu'elles surviennent et assurer un suivi adéquat
- Se tenir informé des nouveaux services et des changements qui pourraient affecter les services offerts
- Travailler le cas échéant avec les services internes pour obtenir du soutien et de l'aide afin de répondre aux besoins des clients
- Qualifications_
- Parfaite maîtrise de l'anglais (excellentes capacités de communication) / La connaissance du français est un atout.
- 1 à 2 ans d'expérience en logistique et en transport de marchandises, ou toute autre expérience connexe.
- Un diplôme spécialisé en logistique et en transport de marchandises, ou une autre formation connexe, est considéré comme un atout.
- La connaissance du réseau de transporteurs nord-américains et des exigences en matière d'expédition transfrontalière est considérée comme un atout.
- La connaissance du secteur des foires commerciales et/ou de l'industrie du camionnage est un atout.
