Job Title: Intermodal Logistics Coordinator

Challenger Motor Freight Inc is seeking a highly skilled Intermodal Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating the supply chain operations of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts from all aspects, including quoting, booking spot shipments, and providing customer service.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer experience is provided through prompt communication and resolution of issues.
  • Responsible for margin improvement through various methods, including optimizing routes and reducing costs.
  • Compliance with customer volume expectations, investigating and advising management on any shortfalls.
  • Respond quickly to spot quotes and customer requests, and be available after hours to assist with resolving issues.
  • Follow up on delivery delays or security issues, and ensure that all audit requirements are completed and scanned in our TMS system.
  • Ensure closure of all orders in the TMS system within 24 hours of delivery, and collect PODs from carriers within 48 hours of receiving the email.
  • Responsible for obtaining extra charges approval from the customer within 48 hours of occurrence, and scan approvals into TMS.
  • Ensure that ETAs are properly communicated to customers or receivers, and book delivery appointments before storage is incurred.
  • Grow and maintain existing and new carrier or customer relationships, and perform work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with peers to ensure coverage is always present.
  • Additional duties as required.
