Challenger Motor Freight Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Intermodal Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating personnel and processes to achieve effective distribution of goods, ensuring smooth operations and maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts from all aspects, including quoting, booking spot shipments, and providing customer service.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer experience is provided through prompt and effective communication.
  • Identify opportunities for margin improvement and implement strategies to achieve this goal.
  • Monitor and investigate volume shortfalls, advising management on corrective actions.
  • Respond quickly to spot quotes and customer requests, and be available after hours to resolve issues.
  • Follow up on delivery delays or security issues, and ensure all audit requirements are completed and scanned in our TMS system.
  • Close all orders in the TMS system within 24 hours of delivery, and collect PODs from carriers within 48 hours of receiving the email.
  • Obtain extra charges approval from customers within 48 hours of occurrence, and scan approvals into TMS.
  • Communicate ETAs to customers or receivers to book delivery appointments before storage is incurred.
  • Qualify carriers in our TMS and RMIS, and grow and maintain existing and new carrier or customer relationships.
  • Perform work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail, ensuring all information is properly communicated to peers for coverage.
  • Additional duties as required.
