About This Opportunity
After-Sales Parts Coordinator provides end to end parts support to customers. This includes assessing customer needs, assisting in developing customized parts, quoting and sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a customer-facing role that requires teamwork with other departments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to customer inquiries for purchasing spare parts and technical information in a timely fashion
- Followup with existing customers to offer parts and go over equipment
- Understand the requirements and respond to the customer accordingly
- Develop spare parts list for projects and present it to the customer
- Prepare quotes for spare parts
- Enter orders into the ERP system and issue drawings to production
- Create exploded views of drawings using Autodesk Inventor
- Coordinate with production daily to ensure spare parts are completed and shipped on time
- Oversee and coordinate the flow of modification & warranty jobs from the design phase to completion of the job
- Follow up with customers to complete the sale of recommended spare parts packages
- Oversee shipping of spare parts and prepare shipment paperwork
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
_ Education & Experience_
- Postsecondary Education required. Diploma or Degree in Production, Manufacturing or Engineering disciplines required
- Previous Sales or Parts experience is required
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
_Knowledge, Skills & Abilities_
- Knowledge and understanding of Engineering drawings and office practices required
- Experience and training in Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques preferred
- Good computer/keyboarding knowledge required
- Good knowledge of Autodesk (i.e. Inventor)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Great customer service and rapport building skills
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends, as required.
- Occasional business travel.
- Valid driver's license.
