We are looking for an individual who is responsible for the fabricating control panels including panel layout, wiring, and testing.


Job duties:

  • Fabrication of control panels which includes wiring and assembly of panel components
  • Operate tools necessary for panel assembly and related activities
  • Testing to ensure accuracy of assembly and safety
  • Assemble stators or armatures for heavyduty electric motors; compress steel laminations to build transformer cores; assemble windings into core using overhead cranes and make electrical connections using crimping, brazing and soldering equipment.
  • Assemble and fit electrical motor or transformer auxiliary equipment such as bushings, tap changes, conduit boxes, heating devices, protective equipment and cooling equipment
  • Safety which includes maintaining a safe work environment, following drawings and instructions to ensure safe panel fabrication, operating all tools and equipment in a safe manner, etc.
  • Crating of completed panels for shipment
  • Occasional travel may be required to make panel changes or to assist with system commissioning

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Woodbridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Electrical wiring: 3 years (preferred)
