Position Summary
The Guest Services Representative plays a vital role within our Guest Services team.

This position is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service by providing assistance, addressing inquiries, educating guests on facility rules and procedures, and presenting a range of options in a friendly and courteous manner.

The Representative is adept at identifying and promoting opportunities for added value and increased sales, showcasing strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to enhance the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities include handling both in-person and over-the-phone program registrations, facilitating internal and external communication, managing facility admissions, and promoting membership sales.


Duties & Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist visitors with information about facility services, programs, and activities.
  • Handle inquiries, concerns, and complaints effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Well informed and positioned to communicate programing policies and procedures for all aspects of the facility, and enforces rules in a positive manner.

Membership Services

  • Process new memberships and renewals.
  • Provide information on membership benefits and privileges.
  • Assist in resolving membershiprelated issues.

Cash Handling

  • Process cash and electronic transactions accurately.
  • Reconcile daily cash and report any discrepancies.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Provide accurate information regarding facility hours, programs, and events.

Facility Access

  • Manage access control systems and ensure the smooth entry and exit of guests.
  • Support facility scheduling with Arena dressing room assignments.
  • Verify memberships and handle daypass transactions

Administrative Support

  • Assist in maintaining accurate guest records and databases.
  • Collaborate with other departments for effective communication and issue resolution.

Experience:

  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and handling electronic transactions.

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as an integral part of a team.
  • WHMIS certification
  • Satisfactory Police Criminal Records Check required.

Working Conditions

  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
