We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier and Customer Service Representative to join our team at Bridgewater Pharmasave. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities- Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
- Stock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a tidy store environment
- Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
- Use electronic cash registers, Interac machines, and price scanners to process transactions
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide a positive customer experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash and operating a cash register
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
