Join us as a Reliability Manager, and you'll be looking at a career-defining role based in Toronto, Ontario.

As part of the Engineering Team, your responsibility will be to deliver a higher level of fleet reliability and availability by managing and overseeing various reliability working groups while utilizing a variety of reliability processes and engineering practices. This role will also be customer-focused.

Your responsibilities will include:

Implement new concepts and proven tools that will deliver higher reliability and performance. Manage a reliability-based strategy for equipment to reduce Service Affecting Failures (SAF), increase Mean-Distance-Between Failures (MDBF) and On-Time Performance (OTP) of the equipment. Manage internal and external resources in relation to reliability activities, and ensure assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner. Drive root cause failure analysis by supporting various reliability meetings: Failure Review Board (FRB), FRACAS, Practical Problem Solving (PPS) workshops. Develop and manage KPIs to track Operation & Maintenance site performance using dashboards. Manage and direct work activity of Failure Analysts, Reliability Engineer and Equipment Specialists to drive performance and reliability improvements Ensure data accuracy in our Asset Management System Use reliability and failure analyst's data and results and undertakes engineering investigations of rail vehicles, associated equipment and components, focusing on the design, maintenance, materials and training to deliver improved fleet safety, reliability and performance, lower operating costs, improved asset availability, and enhanced product quality. Prepare weekly / monthly reports on reliability activities. Use statistical analysis to track fleet losses and abnormally high maintenance cost assets.


Education Requirements :

Electrical / Mechanical Engineer or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed to be equivalent Previous vehicle reliability engineering experience Previous experience in a Management role

Technical Knowledge / Experience

Experience in the Rail Industry, preferably within a maintenance environment Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel Knowledge of IBM Maximo FRACAS, RCM, FMEA, Fault Tree, Pareto Analysis, Reliability Prediction Knowledge using SharePoint, Power BI is an asset
