About the Client
Our client is sourcing a Manager, External Reporting, for an 18-month contract.

About the Opportunity
  • Lead the preparation and filing of external financial statements and MD&A, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, providing guidance to internal teams on appropriate application and interpretation to ensure consistency across the organization
  • Collaborate with external auditors to address and resolve issues proactively, ensuring timely completion of audits and accurate financial reporting
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, leading the organization's compliance with emerging reporting requirements at a national and international level
  • Provide detailed financial analysis, reporting insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to align financial performance with business objectives

About You
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional Accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CA, or international designation) is required
  • 5+ years of experience in external reporting
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
