We are seeking an experienced hands-on professional to oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance and development of our family-owned private estate assets in a rural community. As part of a team, you will join a positive, friendly and collaborative work environment.

Job Description

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and working on a wide variety of tasks and projects. You will be responsible for service, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of various interior and external housing functions and infrastructure.

  • You will oversee and respond to service requests made by the principals, sorting and assigning tasks to the right teams (like property maintenance, IT, or security). This also involves following up, tracking progress, and ensuring quality throughout the process.
  • You will manage, schedule and quality control of full-time cleaning staff.
  • You will perform daily checks of smart home monitoring, identifying and prioritizing issues and assigning to appropriate internal or external service provider as necessary.
  • You will assist internal personnel and service providers with regular task execution related to residential properties.
  • You will build and maintain preferred supplier and service provider roster, including validating skill set and quality of work.
  • You will assist with preparation of annual budgets for capital projects and repair and maintenance.
  • You will maintain organized and detailed property and equipment service and maintenance logs.
  • You will provide weekly estate management updates to family representatives.
  • You will coordinate permit and related applications.
  • You will invoice review and approval.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need prior experience with general contracting and/or a qualified skilled trade. You must be able to perform physical and technical tasks that require strength, coordination and dexterity.

  • You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
  • You must be able to manage multiple accountabilities effectively and relationships within reporting structure.
  • You must demonstrate positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • You must demonstrate communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • You must have flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work weekends and holidays.
  • You must be willing to work until the task is complete, which can require longer hours from time to time.
  • You must be able to execute all tasks in a safe manner.
  • You must have experience with preventative and routine maintenance on small equipment and machinery.
Benefits and Compensation

We offer medical/dental benefits and a competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment, utilizing your multiple skills to make sure everything runs smoothly on the property.
