Position Title: Digital Monetization Specialist
Job Location: Canada: 50 Eglinton, Toronto (Ontario) or 87 Ontario, Montreal (Quebec)
Status: Regular - Full Time

Description

The Digital Monetization Specialist is responsible for identifying and implementing ad sales process and package improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the Digital Monetization department. This role involves evaluating existing workflows, identifying gaps and bottlenecks, and investigating potential solutions. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage practical process improvement initiatives that will ultimately facilitate ease of doing business from the ad buyer perspective.

Responsibilities
  • Assess productivity of Digital Monetization processes, packages, and platform integrations
  • Work within department and with sales, finance, technical teams and external partners to develop, propose, and execute improvements including process redesign, automation, training, and platform enhancements
  • Build awareness of processes and packages by conducting internal training
  • Create and update internal process documentation and workflow diagrams
  • Generate regular insights related to process adoption and package performance. Establish and enforce standards
  • Research and socialize existing and upcoming industrywide solutions to the ever evolving digital ecosystem
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience focused on Ad Operations, Business Operations, Business Analysis, Project Management or Process Management within the digital media industry
  • University degree or equivalent in business, technology, or marketing
  • Knowledge of digital ad tech (e.g. Ad Servers, DMP, DSP, OMS and SSP), tools and trends
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital campaign KPIs including viewability
  • Familiar web tools (e.g. Charles Proxy, Google Developer Tools), JIRA and Confluence
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel) and Google Sheets
  • Curious, self-motivated, and proactive
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Data-driven problem solving skills
  • Works well independently or with a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of English required: In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
