McCain Foods is seeking a Senior Manager, Insights to join our growing team

Summary:

In that case, the Insights Team at McCain Foods would love to have you join our team We are on a bold journey to ensure the consumer is at the center of all we do as we drive business growth. Reporting to the Director of North America Insights, this role is responsible for developing and championing consumer, shopper and operator insights to drive business growth. This role will be responsible for leveraging foundational primary research, proprietary demand space framework, syndicated data and consumer trends and foresight to develop meaningful insights and strategic recommendations to deliver a competitive advantage to the company. The Senior Manager will play an important role in the development and execution of McCain's go-to-market strategies and initiatives.

Essential Duties:

Embed insights throughout organization and champion voice of the consumer, shopper and customer Drive insight development on Innovation (renovation and new to the world) and Marketing initiatives Drive demand centric growth through demand space framework enculturation, activation and integration Collaborate with Innovation and Marketing teams to understand business questions and current and emerging priorities to develop, manage and execute customized learning plans that provide meaningful and actionable findings grounded in a depth of consumer, shopper and customer understanding Educate organization on appropriate applications and limitations of available sources of consumer, shopper and customer data. Coach on custom study design, analytic techniques, data interpretation and storytelling Build strategic partnerships with syndicated data suppliers to ensure McCain is fully leveraging the value and expertise of our partners. Build awareness and usage among Innovation and Marketing teams to ensure consumer-first culture is promoted and maintained Drive continuous improvement through ways of working, insights training and sourcing new innovative methods and techniques to drive novel insight generation with greater frequency, speed and scale

What will make you successful?

Passion for Consumer Insights: 10+ years of Insights Experience in CPG or Foodservice Deep understanding and expertise working with panel data like Circana Food Service - preferred, Retail (IRI or Nielsen), and Circana (NPD) CREST Strategic Thought Leadership: Strategic smarts to lead and influence team as you drive for results Strategic Storyteller: In conversation, in presentation, with data, via PowerPoint & Excel Passion & Curiosity: Inspired by the world around you Empathy: Understand and anticipate consumer, shopper, operator and organizational needs Creative Resiliency: Incessant creative problem solver of ambiguous challenges Collaboration: Genuinely enjoys a collaborative team effort Food Interests: Active observer and participant of trends Client-Service Mentality: Core strategic partnerships with "internal clients" Market Research Acumen: Significant experience working research projects from inception to completion. Previous knowledge of sampling, project design, analysis, report writing and presentations a must.
