Are you ready to grow your career in travel assistance?

At World Travel Protection, protecting people is our priority. We take care of corporate and leisure travelers, helping them avoid risks before they escalate and providing them with immediate access to the right experts when an emergency happens.

Our extensive experience in global travel risk management is the reason we are trusted by travelers, corporate risk managers and organizations across the globe, who allow us to help prepare them for potential travel threats and assist them when they need it most.

Zurich Insurance is a global insurance company with a specialty in life insurance, general insurance and travel insurance. This role will sit in one of Zurich’s subsidiary companies, World Travel Protection, which focuses on travel risk management and emergency assistance.

We are part of Cover-More Group, the third largest provider of travel insurance and assistance in the world, operating in 16 countries across five continents from New Zealand to the USA…sounds exciting right?

So, what’s our mission?

Protecting travellers – and supporting those responsible for their safety – is our business.

We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week from our 4 operation centres in Australia, Canada, and the UK, responding to the cries for help we receive from travellers across the globe.

So, what's the job?

  • You'll be a subject matter expert in Regulatory Licensing matters across Canada and the US for WTP
  • You'll provide leadership in ensuring all appropriate licenses are held and maintained.
  • You'll assist with the maintenance and implementation of the corporate licensing strategy.
  • You’ll conduct research and analysis on existing and upcoming changes to all applicable regulations related to the distribution and adjudication of Travel Assistance and Travel Claims services; summarizing for internal communication, and suggesting necessary enhancements or changes to internal processes and procedures.
  • You'll create and embed a risk-aware and regulatory compliant culture and provide education to internal and external stakeholders on licensing matters.
  • You'll demonstrate unquestionable ethics.
  • You'll always represent World Travel Protection in a professional manner.
  • You'll uphold high standards of quality service provision.
What are we looking for?

Required:

  • You'll possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and diligent follow-through on tasks and projects, with the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
  • You'll demonstrate technical proficiency in operating software, primarily in a window-based environment.
  • You'll have strong experience with Microsoft suite of products, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • You'll display tact, diplomacy, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Previous experience and understanding of travel distribution and insurance is advantageous.
  • You’ll have knowledge of Canadian and US licensing requirements.
  • You'll need the ability to handle a high volume of tasks with urgency, meeting specific deadlines consistently.
  • You'll have a Bachelors’ degree or equivalent industry experience.
Why Choose us?

We value optimism, caring, togetherness, reliability and determination.

We have more than 1500 employees worldwide: we’re a global group of digital specialists, actuaries, marketers, doctors, nurses, case managers, claims specialists, finance experts and customer service professionals.
