Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Planning Manager for an 18 month contract in Toronto. This is hybrid role - with possibility of 5 days/week in future.
Pay rate: $39.89 - $47.45 / Hour
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 7.5 Hours/day

Responsibilities
As a Planning Manager, your duties will be:
â¢Collaborating with stakeholders to assist with the invoices payment process (incl. Paper invoices, Software, Beeline, COUPA, etc.), furlough, etc.
â¢Running the monthly reporting of Project Reports. Works closely with PMs/PMAs/Contractor Owners to review and correct outstanding items as part of the monthly cycle.
â¢Maintaining a positive and constructive relationship with all stakeholders, and assist the Senior Planning Manager in managing stakeholder relationships.
â¢Facilitating small meetings, prepare meeting agendas and take meeting minutes.
â¢Assisting in driving continuous process improvement in collaboration with other team leads.
â¢Developing knowledge and become a valuable team resource.
â¢Participating in ad-hoc requests.
â¢Identifying potential issues, conflicts, and risks.
â¢Analyzing, mitigating and escalating where appropriate.

Qualifications
â¢Experience working with Planview, MIS, and SharePoint
â¢High degree of accuracy, attention to detail; ability to learn quickly and problem solve.
â¢Strong MS Office, SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
â¢Show strong initiatives to drive forward discussions and objectives
â¢Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively from different functional perspectives and with both peers and senior levels
â¢Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities

Nice-to-have:
â¢Bachelorâs Degree and/or relevant working experience with minimum 2 years working experience in financial industry
â¢Working experience with finance industry
