Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services and Live-In Treatment; we are looking for a Senior Manager of Clinical Services to join us. You will provide clinical supervision and guide the work of a team of Registered Social Workers and Registered Psychotherapists. You will manage all clinical outpatient core services at YouthLink, including What’s Up Walk-In, Brief Therapy, Short Term Treatment for Families, Ongoing Therapy, Family Therapy and Group Therapy. You will collaborate with the Senior Manager of Clinical Operations and the Data & Research Analyst to evolve and streamline all Core Services within the changing landscape of Children’s Mental Health Services.

Please note that this is a permanent non-bargaining unit position working full time, 35 hours/week, with the requirement to be in the office five days per week.

Lead programs and services. You will oversee the delivery of outpatient mental health services for children and youth (ages 0–24) and their families, including individual, family, and group therapy. You will shape and evolve the clinical team's vision, philosophy, and objectives while managing projects that align internal operations with the evolving landscape of Children’s Mental Health. You have a Master’s degree in a psychotherapy-related field. You are licensed to practice and registered with a regulated health college which permits the delivery of the controlled Act of Psychotherapy. You are pursuing, or you have, the Clinical Supervisory Designation specific to providing the controlled act of psychotherapy for individual and family therapy supervision. Your participation in coursework demonstrates continual learning in Equity, Diversity and Belonging practices. In addition, you may have Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Certification, Level 1 & 2; The management experience. You have held a clinical supervisor and practice manager role for organizations providing youth services, mental health or a related field, ideally working directly with communities in the Scarborough area for at least four or more years. You have an advanced understanding of concepts related to power and privilege, social location, equity, and intersectionality. You have demonstrable experience in implementing equity strategies in programs and services. You have site and team management experience, including exposure to human resource management (union experience is a strong asset), financial management, program management, evaluation design, or systems design.
You have a comprehensive knowledge of youth developmental stages, social ecology, and family systems. You are acutely aware of the impact of childhood, racial, and intergenerational trauma on youth development.
You leverage relevant information and critical analysis to make informed decisions, tackling problems with urgency and energy.
