Here's what we're looking for
We are looking for a dynamic People & Culture Specialist to join our team and play a key role in the success of our organization. As an People & Culture Specialist, you will play an essential role in maintaining and optimizing our HR processes. You will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of human resources, including onboarding, benefits management, as well as employee training and development.
Your daily responsibilities
- Handle routine employee queries regarding HR policies and benefits while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of HR services, including onboarding, offboarding, terminations, contract administration, and employee data management in HRIS.
- Review, enhance, draft, and develop relevant HR programs, policies, and procedures in line with the current and future needs of the organization.
- Be an expert in the use and maintenance of the HRIS;
- Manage employee performance review cycles and ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related communications, such as policy updates, company news, and employee announcements.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are effectively communicated and implemented while maintaining compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Work closely with management to address employee relations issues, support conflict resolution, mediate disputes, and provide guidance throughout the process.
- Stay informed by analyzing market trends and best practices to guide practices, processes, programs, and tools, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field;
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience;
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Team player, relationship builder and collaborator;
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management;
- Good knowledge of Quebec Labour Laws;
- Experience with HRIS systems;
- CHRP or CRHA designation is preferred.
