  6. Oversee the classification and rating of occupations
  7. Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
  8. Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions and salary scales
  9. Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs
  10. Manage contracts
  11. Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
  12. Manage training and development strategies
  13. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
