Our client, a national wholesale distributor that has been a leader supporting the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industries, is seeking to add a Hydronics Sales Specialist to their sales team. Bryce Delegarde of Lock Search Group has been engaged to find a dynamic individual to support their team in Saskatoon.
This position will be pivotal in identifying, advocating for, and selling our extensive selection of HVAC and hydronic products and solutions. It entails building and nurturing relationships with current and prospective clients, offering technical guidance, and guaranteeing their contentment. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who has a compelling drive, technical ‘mechanical’ aptitude, and comfort dealing with Customers.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for executing the order process, including proposing pricing terms within established margins, sourcing additional products, and generating sales orders.
- Utilize available resources to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues effectively
- Deliver technical assistance to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure customers receive precise pricing, inventory, and delivery details
- Deliver exceptional customer service to foster relationships and drive additional business.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment to deliver robust customer support.
- Address customer requests and inquiries promptly.
- Keep comprehensive records of sales activities, customer engagements, and advancements using the company's CSR system.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding and proficiency in hydronic products and their various applications.
- Meet sales and procedural targets set by management.
- Engage in training sessions, and vendor meetings to stay updated on product knowledge, market trends, rebates, and offerings.
- Identify customer requirements and promote and upsell products accordingly.
Requirements:
- At least two (2) years of experience in a comparable role, preferably within a wholesale distribution setting or in hydronics installation/service.
- Exceptions to this point, would be made for those Counter Sales, or Inside Sales professionals, that currently work within the HVAC sector that are looking to grow into sales position; or to HVAC professionals currently in the trade (eg. Service Managers, Estimators, Technicians, Project Managers) looking to move away from the tools into a sales career.
- Proficiency in computer usage is essential.
- Demonstrated dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
- Familiarity with industry products is required.
- Excellent telephone etiquette is a must
- Proven ability to take initiative and collaborate effectively in a team-based setting.
- Exceptional organizational skills for task prioritization and multitasking.
- Competence in using CRM software and the MS Office Suite.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to manage demands and solve problems swiftly in a dynamic environment.
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
