The Role:
- Proactively build, drive and manage forward new business opportunities and maintain a robust pipeline of potential sales.
- Foster and maintain relationships with decision-makers at the Director, VP, and C-levels within target companies.
- Understand and navigate the complexities of IT project lifecycles to offer tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Execute the entire sales cycle with precision, from market strategy and prospecting to need qualification, pricing, negotiation, and account management.
- Achieve success in upselling and cross-selling within existing customer bases.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to meet business needs.
Location:
Toronto Based and can come to office 3 days a week.
We are looking for:
- 10+ years selling software services
- Bachelor's degree in Business or IT.
- Proven experience in IT services with a deep understanding of IT project structure and lifecycle.
- Strong experience across the full sales cycle, including Go to Market Strategy, Prospection, Need Qualification, Pricing, Negotiation, and Account Management.
- Expertise in pitching to Director, VP, and C-level executives.
- Knowledge of Agile software teams, process, and programming languages
- Consistent track record of generating new revenue through self-sourced opportunities.
- Demonstrated success in upselling and cross-selling within an existing customer base.
- Strong experience across the full sales cycle, including Go to Market Strategy, Prospection,
- Established network and experience within the Canadian market.
- Demonstrated ability to sell to mid-size market companies and larger.
- Need Qualification, Pricing, Negotiation, and Account Management
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
- Solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on meeting client needs and overcoming challenges.
About You:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented sales leader who thrives on hunting for and converting new business. It’s important to consider, this is primarily a hunting role, but you will be able to farm accounts you bring in. Ideally, we’re looking for a salesperson that has deep experience selling agile development services and/or team augmentation services. The ideal candidate has a in depth knowledge of software development processes and roles as well as enterprise pain points, where they need help.
CBTW Americas boasts offices in Canada, the USA, and Colombia, with a keen focus on Product Design and Strategy, Software Engineering, and Growth Marketing.
The primary sectors we work in are Financial Services, Automotive, Media, Telco, Tech, Travel, Retail/eCommerce but we are not limited to these. Clients include the likes of Interac, Visa, CAA, Amex, A&W, Getty Images, Rogers Bank, Sportsnet, LVMH, BC Liquor, Nissan and more…

We are looking for a seasoned, senior salesperson to join our sales team to help accelerate growth by selling our engineering service offerings to our Ideal Client Profile (ICP), which is Enterprise, F2000 companies and Mid-Market + Scale up companies.
