We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Account Executive to augment our coverage of strategic accounts in the Montréal-Québec City area. Thanks to the significant contribution of the open sources community, our innovative solutions are focused on the following: OpenShift, the leading Platform as a Service (PAAS), to leverage the container/Kubernetes model to accelerate the development and deployment of applications; and on Red Hat Enterprise Linux to secure and scale workloads whether on-premise or in the cloud, including SAP Hana & Ansible.
What you will do- The Account Executive works with named or large key accounts to provide product solutions, develop new business, and to ensure satisfaction, and maintain positive ongoing relationships.
- Works with other internal sales personnel to propose specific solutions for a given account or partner.
- Manages revenue goals for the given account/client.
- Provides regular updates to senior sales/operations staff concerning account issues, financial status, etc.
- This role requires the person to work with the ecosystem, including Reseller Partners , Hyperscalers, and GSI's.
- This role may come into contact with confidential or sensitive customer information requiring special treatment in accordance with Red Hat policies and applicable privacy laws.
- An understanding of the above technologies will be an asset.
- Knowledge and experience in selling to and having trusted relationships with key stakeholders in Quebec.
- The ability to communicate fluently in French and English is a must.
