Unit Summary The Pediatric Ambulatory Medicine and Surgical Clinics at McMaster Children's Hospital provides outpatient care to over 100,000 pediatric patients from Hamilton and the surrounding area. It is a dynamic, fast paced environment comprised of numerous sub-specialty clinics that facilitate the unique health care needs of children, using a family centered model of care. 
The Clinical Specialist – RD will support the discipline across multiple areas of practice and services within the Pediatric Ambulatory Program. to support children and youth across inpatient and ambulatory care settings. The Clinical Specialist – RD will also facilitate project work related to the Pediatric Nutrition Advisory Committee and associated initiatives (i.e. infant formula, Food Insecurity, etc.). 
Schedule Work Hours Monday to Friday; Advanced pediatric diet therapy training required (i.e. ketogenic diet therapy, metabolic diet therapy, etc.)
Minimum of 5 years recent (within the last 2 years) of inpatient and ambulatory advanced diet therapy experience within a tertiary care setting. 
Knowledge, skills and abilities in caring for infants, children and adolescents as well as their families within the scope of the role of Dietitian
