Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Processing: Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll accurately and on time
using payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex).
2. Timekeeping: Review and validate timecards or timesheets for accuracy and
completeness, resolving any discrepancies as needed.
3. Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits such as health insurance,
retirement plans, and other deductions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
4. Tax Compliance: Calculate and withhold federal, state, and local taxes, as well as
other deductions such as garnishments and voluntary deductions.
5. Payroll Reporting: Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management, HR, and
other stakeholders as needed.
6. Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including
employee information, earnings, deductions, and hours worked.
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll
regulations, including wage and hour laws and tax requirements.
8. Employee Support: Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries
regarding payroll, benefits, and related matters.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
● 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or related role.
● Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
● Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
● Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
