Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and organized professional to join our non-profit client as an AP/Payroll Clerk in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. This is a contract opportunity with long-term potential and is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possess a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Accounts payable support
- Prepare and process EFTs and manual cheques
- Manage AP inbox and process inquiries as needed
- Expense processing
- Payroll support
- Financial data entry
- Records management
- Post-secondary education in business or accounting
- 1 2 years experience in a similar support role
- Previous experience in a non-profit environment considered an asset
- Proficiency using accounting software programs; AccPacc and/or Xero considered an asset
- Excellent time management skills and superior attention to detail
- Adaptable and flexible work ethic with the ability to change priorities as needed
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to work in a team while being efficient when working independently
