Business Development Manager-Medical

To provide innovative environmental solutions to help customers and communities manage their residuals and wastewater for a cleaner future. We provide a broad range of services and solutions including mechanical dewatering, both in mobile and fixed facility applications, dredging, lagoon cleaning, digester cleaning, tank cleaning, solids transportation and solids disposal, whether for landfill or for beneficial reuse.
The Business Development Manager plans and executes sales initiatives for American Process Group. This includes contributing to the development of a sales plan and procedures in partnership with the Director to identify, develop and bid new business while maintaining existing project and client relationships.
Responsible for business development of projects in US and Canada;
Work with Business Development Team and Operations Team to respond to project bids, tenders and Requests for Proposals;
Work with internal teams and resources to communicate throughout project bidding process;
Utilize Customer Relation Management Software in order to facilitate the sales process;
Review bidding websites, finding new tenders and growing understanding of market;
Minimum five years’ experience in technical business development role, management, or environmental engineering/consulting. Water and wastewater treatment or operations experience a plus;
Strong interpersonal and networking skills;
Previous experience maximizing CRM software capabilities;
Extensive experience working with Microsoft Excel Worksheets and Workbooks;
Able to commute to head office in Stony Plain office on regular basis;
Willing and able to travel in Canada and the US for conferences and other project related tasks.
