The New Brunswick Housing Corporation (NBHC) is seeking an individual to join the Housing team as a Housing Programs Coordinator in Central office (Fredericton, NB). The NBHC is focused on working with all levels of government, community groups, organizations, and the private sector to identify and maximize housing development opportunities while providing support through a housing strategy to positively impact New Brunswickers.
As a member of the Housing NB team, the successful candidate will work with various Housing programs including the Affordable Rental Housing Program (ARHP), the Rental Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program (RRAP), RRAP Conversion, and the Shelter Enhancement Program. The successful candidate will be responsible to support with the assessment, selection, and development of housing projects. In this role the successful candidate will provide subject matter expertise, consultation, and training on various aspects (ie. policy, process, requirements, technical matters, etc…) throughout project development to ensure timely and successful completion. The successful candidate will also be responsible managing, tracking, and reporting on the data for the above noted Housing programs. The provincial portfolio of affordable housing projects involves a large volume of data which requires a high degree of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and critical judgement to organize and maintain for effective program delivery.
Need to have (essential qualifications): Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

Nice to have (asset qualifications): Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate experience in one or more of the following asset qualifications:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and of project management tools.
Experience coordinating with a Project Manager to meet project goals.
Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered, or the required years of experience may be increased.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: The successful candidate will possess the following technical competencies:
Ability to Use Office Technology, Software and Applications;
